Wait is almost over for football
The wait for college football to return to Stillwater is down to a two-week stretch. Though there is still no football going on, it will be a fairly busy time around OSU football.
OSU head coach Mike Gundy, running back Joseph Randle, defensive lineman Cooper Bassett and offensive lineman Lane Taylor head to Dallas on Tuesday to talk to reporters at the Big 12's annual media days.

On July 27, Randle will head to ESPN's studios for a series of interviews.
The OSU coaching staff will turn its collective attention fully towards recruiting one final time on July 28, when they will hold their final one-day camp in Stillwater.
Cowboy players will report to camp on Thursday, August 2nd, with the first practice of fall camp the following day.
OSU will host its' annual Fan Day on Saturday, August 4th. The event will start at 2 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. Doors open at 1. They'll follow that event with Media Day later that afternoon.
Though practices haven't begun yet, there is a lot going on around OSU football as the Cowboys prepare to defend their Big 12 Championship. Later today on OState Illustrated, we'll kick off our preseason coverage with our first position group breakdown.
