Topping the list of names is Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon, reeling in the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year award. He also claimed one of the two wide receiver slots on the award list. The 2010 Biletnikoff Award winner, Blackmon was clutch for the Cowboys last season, piling up 1,782 yards and 20 touchdowns.
He wasn't the only Poke on the list, however.
Also appearing with Blackmon on the offensive side is offensive lineman Levy Adcock. Both were 2010 All-Big 12 First Team selections. Defensive back Markelle Martin and punter Quinn Sharp also made the preseason list.
That's a total of four Cowpokes on the list overall. That's tied with Texas A&M, which won four slots, though one player holds two of those -Coryell Judie at both kick returner and defensive back. Oklahoma led the way with nine slots, including Ryan Broyles at the other wideout slot (he also won punt returner) and Landry Jones at quarterback. Texas only posted at three spots - none on offense. Missouri had three as well, followed by Iowa State at two and Kansas State and Texas Tech with one apiece. Baylor and Kansas did not feature a player on the list.
