Cowboys pick up 3rd commitment of the weekend

Three-star offensive lineman Derek Kerstetter became Oklahoma State's third new verbal commitment of the weekend when he announced his decision via Twitter. It was a big weekend for the Cowboy recruiting efforts, as numerous targets either took weekend unofficial visits or attended OSU's mini-camp on Sunday afternoon.

Kerstetter joins fellow Texans Lamarcus Morton and Kris McCune as new additions to the OSU verbal commitment list, which now numbers 14 prospects. OSI has completed interviews with the former two and will be publishing those ASAP. We'll also work to get with Kerstetter about his decision and what led him to settle on the Cowboys. Morton and Kerstetter were both recently offered by OSU, as noted here.
