I started the original version of OStateIllustrated.com (OState.com then) in 1998 after doing a business plan for it as part of an entrepreneurship class my senior year at Oklahoma State. The project got a C because it "didn't seem very feasible." There were a few times in the middle of it where doing the site as a business didn't seem feasible to me either...but 9 years into it, we're going strong and it's at least keeping the bills paid!
