Oklahoma State's trip to Kansas was fairly light on true freshmen, with just four participating in the game. However, receiver Austin Hays joined Wes Lunt as true freshmen who have now started a game in 2012. Recovering from injury, Lunt suited up but did not play against the Jayhawks.
