Redshirt Tracker: Staying on track

Oklahoma State has played two games since our last update. The upset loss at Arizona saw just four true freshmen hit the field, while OSU's romp over Louisiana saw most of those who played against Savannah State getting some game action.

FRESHMAN REDSHIRT TRACKER
Wes Lunt, QB1
The rundown:

Games 2&3: Lunt played the entire Arizona game (save one fourth down play run by J.W. Walsh). Against Louisiana, Lunt only had a handful of plays before suffering a knee injury.
Game 1: Only got four series to start the game, but was ultra-efficient, going 11-for-11 for 129 yards. All four of his drives resulted in OSU touchdowns, though none were capped off via the air.
August 15: Lunt is QB1. Not much else needs to be said. He'll play.

Blake Webb, IR
The rundown:

Games 2 & 3: Webb is one of four freshmen to play in all three games thus far. He had 1 catch for 15 yards at Arizona and 2 for 37 against UL.
Game 1: Working as Jackson's backup, Webb tallied two catches for 38 yards.
August 27: After starting camp at the slot position, Webb moved to the "Y" when Torrance Carr went out with an injury. He's listed as the number two at that position behind Blake Jackson. Fully expected to play against Savannah State.
August 15: Webb is the only other freshman thus far through fall camp who has had a coach say definitively that he will play. There will definitely be others, but Webb has shown the ability to backup either inside receiver spots.
